STORE ENTERING Prior to entering, a minimum of two employees will meet at or near the store entrance and enter the store together through the front doors. It is required that one of the opening employees is a keyholder with unique credentials to disarm the alarm panel. Entering the store with less than two Employees is not permitted as it is a safety hazard. Vendors such as Security Guards or cleaning staff are not counted as employees unless under circumstances which require Asset Protection approval. When two employees cannot be achieved, the Store Team must receive approval to access the store with one employee. A keyholder will deactivate the alarm, and then conduct a thorough inspection of the sales floor, all back of house areas, closets, etc. to ensure the store is safe and secure. Key Holders are defined as Store Managers/Directors, Assistant Managers/Directors, Department Managers, Operation Managers, and other employees recommended by Regional Directors/Country Managers with Asset Protection & Retail Operations approval. Before Store Business Hours: Only employees and previously approved, business-related third party vendors and visitors are permitted in the store during this time. Employees’ personal visitors will not be granted access to the store during non-business hours. Store Team members scheduled at the same time are strongly encouraged to enter the store together to reduce the number of times the doors are opened. Exiting the store before the store is open for business must be managed and controlled by a key holder with proper bag and trash inspections being followed. Frequent exit/entry is strongly discouraged. At no time can there be only 1 employee in the store alone or with a vendor unless approved by Asset Protection. Opening of register cash tills must be performed by a FENDI key holder or manager, ensuring cash is always secured and accounted for. Complete opening checklist and display product counts (cycle counts, i.e. high price point items such as Fur). LDS Stores All Department Store Security processes must be followed when entering, including using proper entrances, maintaining proper identification and proper use of vendor forms. Managers must control vendor access to FENDI stockrooms, office spaces and sales floors Although it is strongly recommended to open the store with 2 employees, this can be reduced to 1 with the approval of the Regional Director/Country Manager or Regional Operations partner. Approvals must be obtained in writing During Store Business Hours A minimum of two Employees and the Security Guard must remain in the store at all times during business hours. At least one employee should remain on the sales floor at all times. Personal visitors are not permitted in non-public areas of the store at any time. All employees entering and exiting the store must do so using the front doors, regardless the time of day. Rear exits are intended to be used as emergency exits ONLY and must not be used unless the event of an emergency, or bulk movement of trash or shipment. Door audibles (alarm/siren) must be armed when not in use and silenced by a keyholder when in use. A key holder must be present when the rear door is opened to silence the audible and secure the door until it is closed and re-armed. Clients should not be granted access to the store during non-business hours, unless approved by Retail Leadership

STORE CLOSING At the scheduled time, a key holder will confirm the store is ready to close its doors. The Security Guard will lock and secure the doors, and a key holder will verify the doors are properly secured. Clients already in the store will be permitted to remain in store until their selling experience has been completed and exit the store. After the store is clear of clients, the Store Team will begin closing procedures. Clients and unauthorized personnel are not permitted in the store while the Store Team completes closing procedures. CLOSING THE STORE WITH LESS THAN TWO EMPLOYEES, ONE OF WHICH IS A KEY HOLDER WITH UNIQUE CREDENTIALS TO ARM THE ALARM PANEL IS NOT PERMITTED. All showcase keys and cable detatchers should be stored in the safe/back of house. These keys are not permitted to leave the store Employees’ personal visitors will not be granted access to the store during non-business hours. Exiting Before exiting, the key holder must ensure all bag and trash inspections are followed per policy and proceed to set the Burglar Alarm. Once the alarm is set, all Store Team members and Security Guards (where applicable) are required to exit. The key holder will ensure the doors are locked before leaving. Store Employees are strongly encouraged to leave together as a team and not exit the store alone. CALIFORNIA STORES ONLY: Bag inspections MUST occur prior to employees clocking out for their shift. LDS Stores All Department Store Security processes must be following when closing and exiting, including using proper exits, following proper POS procedures and bag check policies. If the Department Store does not enforce a bag check policy, FENDI employees must comply with the FENDI bag check policy. Although it is strongly recommended to close the store with 2 employees, this can be reduced to 1 with the approval of the Regional Director/Country Manager or Regional Operations partner. Approvals must be obtained in writing​ OVERNIGHT HOURS: Unless previously approved, there will be no access to a store after closing procedures are completed and alarms have been set. Employee work being performed overnight require Security Guard coverage. Security Guards are permitted to remain in the store alone overnight when work is completed and will control access to the store as well as enforce bag checks.
